How Electronic Hard Water
Descalers Work

Mineral Scale Build-up

Hard water flows through a pipe causing build-up of mineral scale

As hard water flows through a pipe, calcium carbonate molecules adhere to the inside walls. Over time, the build-up of mineral scale increases to the point where it reduces water flow, clogs pipes and damages equipment.

Green Hard Water Descaling Process

"Green" descaling process uses no salt or chemicals

A "green" hard water de-scaling process uses no salt or chemicals and works as follows: An induction coil, connected to a computerized electronic de-scaler, is wrapped externally around the incoming water pipe.

Introduction of Magnetic Field

Descaling process

The de-scaler produces an oscillating electronic field using a unique and complex modulating frequency waveform. This process creates turbulence in the water molecules and changes the physical size, shape and charge of calcium carbonate molecules. The affected ions collide with one another to the point where calcium crystals enlarge until they lose their surface charges, preventing them from clinging to the pipe walls or any other surface.

Scale Removal and Prevention

Existing scale build-up is also reversed

Existing scale build-up is reversed as empty water molecules moving through the pipe attract calcium molecules from scale on the pipe's walls - effectively cleaning away scale and preventing its return. This approach provides an environmentally safe and maintenance- free alternative to water softeners.
